We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Collections Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the AR and Collections department. This role is responsible for managing a team, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate receivables records, and driving process improvements to support cash flow and financial goals.
Supervise and mentor a team of AR/Collections staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
Oversee the daily operations of accounts receivable, billing, and collections to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor aging reports, set collection targets, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing disputes and payment issues.
Develop and implement collection strategies to reduce delinquency and improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
Prepare and present regular reports on receivables status, collections performance, and team productivity.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for AR and collections.
Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and audit requests as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of AR processes, billing, collections, and reconciliation.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
